At 6,461 metres, Mera is the highest Himalaya accessible by untrained trekkers: all you need is reasonable fitness, and a guide who allows you to adjust to the altitude. Spend several days acclimatising, moving slowly up the valley as views open up of the Himalayas. Below are some pictures of this beautiful mountain.
